Fresh Thyme Farmers Market®, a rapidly growing Midwest specialty grocer focused on healthy organic products and groceries, announced today the company’s 70th store will open on Wednesday, March 14 at 7:00 a.m. in St. Peters, Missouri – 3600 South St. Peters Parkway.
The first 250 shoppers (aged 18 and older) in line on Grand Opening morning, will receive a free bag of groceries, marking the official start of a four-day celebration with live music, kids activities, food sampling, beer tastings and more.
“From stocking local products, hiring residents and partnering with nonprofits in the area, we are fully committed to servicing the St. Peters community as our own family,” said Chris Sherrell, President and CEO of Fresh Thyme. “We’re thrilled to be expanding our Missouri footprint, and encourage everyone in the St. Peters community to come out and help us kick-off our family-friendly, four-day celebration.”
To further express their commitment to the St. Peters community, Fresh Thyme will support the St. Charles YMCA by donating sales from their Boar’s Head hot dog cart, which will be available to shoppers on Wednesday, March 14 and Saturday, March 17 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Fresh Thyme will also host a friends and family ribbon-cutting ceremony with prominent local officials from the Greater St. Charles Chamber of Commerce the day prior to the store opening, on Tuesday, March 13 from 4:00 to 7:00pm. During the ceremony, a $2,500 check donation will be made to Francis Howell High North Marching Band, and to Youth in Need, a nonprofit child and family services agency that is dedicated to building positive futures for the community’s most vulnerable children, teens and families.
